Tuscan Chestnut finished pieces are built from solid pine and pine veneers; hardware has an antique brass finish. Crafted of pine, a gorgeous softwood with a closed grain pattern. MDF is an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures the product's structural integrity over time.

Expertly crafted of solid kiln-dried wood. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking, and developing mildew. The use of veneers results in high-quality furniture that has elegant surfaces and consistent color tones that will not be subject to cracking.

Finish is hand-applied in a multi-step process which is a slightly distressed oil-based matte color. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and metal glides, which ensure smooth motion. Bookcase features 1 fixed shelf (middle) and 2 adjustable shelves (top and bottom).

The 2-file drawers feature anti-tilt guards to prevent both drawers from being pulled out at the same time. Cord cutout located on bottom back of bookcase. Adjustable levelers provide stability on uneven floors.
